Their Future is decided today

We’re committed to building an inclusive and sustainable one.

Designed for the future

We’re driven to create meaningful progress — for this generation and the ones to come. That’s why we’ve set bold environmental goals and are rethinking how we design our products, because that’s where lasting impact begins. At the heart of our approach are three guiding principles that help us make better, more thoughtful design choices.

We’re an official B Corp™

It means we meet high social and environmental standards and are on the right path to making positive change. From taking care of employees to launching circular services, conscious choices are in our DNA, and our certification pushes us to do even better.

Materials that make a difference

We’re switching our materials for more sustainable ones — without compromising quality. Materials with lower CO2 footprint, recycled materials, and mono-materials are our priorities. They’re part of our mission to reduce our products’ footprint by 47% by 2026.

Bio-based material

To reduce our strollers’ CO2 footprint, we use mass-balanced bio-based material instead of fossil-based plastics. This innovation upcycles plant-based waste, without compromising durability or performance, so our products can last for generations.

FSC®-certified wood

Our award-winning Bugaboo Giraffe chair is crafted with natural beechwood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council®. This means the wood is traceable and comes from responsibly managed forests.

Recycled fabrics

These things take time, but we’re gradually incorporating recycled fabrics into our entire range — from strollers to accessories. Alongside these updates, we’re always on the hunt for even better alternatives.

Recycled aluminum

The ultra-compact Bugaboo Butterfly is crafted using 60% recycled aluminum, which has reduced the CO2 footprint by 16%. It’s a first step, but we plan to roll out the material across all our strollers.

Certified Refurbished

A sustainable product is one that lasts — so we design for longevity from the very beginning.
Our modular-design approach means parts can be repaired, replaced, and recycled, helping
each product stay in use for as long as possible.

To extend lifespans even further, we created our Certified Refurbished program. Refurbished strollers might show small signs of a previous life’s adventures, but they perform like new. Each one is meticulously restored by skilled technicians, who inspect every screw, click, and stitch to ensure it’s safe, spotless, and ready to stroll again.
